Miller Electric, a thriving $16 million multi-service contractor with 88 dedicated team members, is seeking an experienced Electrical General Manager to oversee our expanding electrical operations across two premier locations. Following our recent acquisition of Robbs Electric in Carver, we're looking for a dynamic leader to drive growth and operational excellence across our $8 million electrical division.

The Opportunity

As Electrical General Manager, you'll take full ownership of our electrical operations, including managing profit and loss. You'll lead teams across both our Hastings (Miller Electric) and Carver (Robbs Electric) locations, driving business development, overseeing sales processes, and building lasting customer relationships that fuel our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • P&L Management: Take full accountability for the financial performance of the electrical division
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team including estimators and shop foremen across two locations
  • Business Development: Build strategic relationships and drive revenue growth in commercial and residential markets
  • Sales Oversight: Guide the sales process from initial estimates through project completion
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient operations across both locations while maintaining our high standards
  • Strategic Growth: Identify and pursue new market opportunities in new construction and remodeling projects
  • Cross-Location Coordination: Travel between Hastings and Carver locations to ensure seamless operations

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in the electrical industry
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in electrical contracting
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving revenue growth
  • Strong P&L management experience
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to travel regularly between locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree
  • Experience with commercial and residential electrical projects
  • Background in new construction and remodeling markets
  • Experience working in an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) environment
