Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Total Rewards Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our comprehensive compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRIS programs. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role ensures internal equity, market competitiveness, and a seamless employee experience across all total rewards initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compensation
Develop and manage job evaluation methodologies, salary structures, and pay ranges.
Conduct market analyses to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
Lead annual compensation planning, including merit increases and incentive programs.
- Administer 401(k) plans, PTO programs, and other incentive systems, ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.
Benefits
- Create and execute a multi-year benefits strategy that aligns with employee needs and market trends.
- Negotiate with providers and oversee benefits-related budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Manage open enrollment, benefits portal administration, and life event changes.
- Administer FMLA, leaves of absence, and accommodations for employees.
- Drive health and wellness initiatives across the organization.
HRIS & Reporting
- Oversee HR systems (e.g., UKG) for optimal functionality, upgrades, and integrations.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify system improvements and implement solutions.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct annual audits and generate reports for HR metrics.
Payroll
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate and compliant processing.
- Serve as a backup for payroll processing and oversee employee lifecycle maintenance in HRIS.
Employee Engagement & Administration
- Support employee engagement activities and oversee offboarding processes, including exit interviews.
- Maintain compliance with legal postings and employee documentation.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees regarding benefits, payroll, and HRIS inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in total rewards, including compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRIS, with 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in HRIS strategy and implementation; UKG experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.), and benefits for self-insured employers.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in compensation modeling, benchmarking, and technical reporting tools.
