Immediate opening available for and Laser Operator positions!  This position is available for an individual who has previous Production Laser Operator experience.

What We're Looking For: Laser Operator
  • Minimum of Five Years Mfg/Production Laser Operator experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds in order to move die boards.
  • Ability to lift and move a 48 x 96 inch die board to register onto laser bed.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively as a team member with individuals from all levels of the company
  • Confident written and verbal English communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Customer oriented (internal & external)
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Team player with the ability to work well with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle fast fast-paced work environment
  • Professional manner and demeanor

Key Responsibilities: Laser Operator
  • Start/warms-up laser equipment as well as properly shut down at end of day
  • Responsible for reporting of material stock/inventory shortages within department
  • Read, interpret, and conceptualize job order tickets
  • Follow OS (ERP) job ticket instructions and review check list for each job
  • Proficient cutting of all woods, Rayforms, Plastics, Steel, and ejection with excellent quality and efficiency
  • Proficient production of all other CNC such as WaterJet and Flash Cutting Applications with excellent quality and efficiency
  • In training with all LCP - setup requirements on all laser systems
  • Build into understanding department daily production schedule requirements
  • Notify direct supervisor/manager of any scheduling problems or concerns that may arise
  • Communicates process improvement notes and recommendations back to direct supervisor
  • Die board preparation, including edge and face cleaning, and any routing requirements
  • Stay up to date with current NC – laser techniques
  • Understand material control, material handling, material condition specific to OS ticket instructions
  • Assist with inventory requirements as assigned or apparent
  • Forklift Certified  (Training available)
  • Maintain a courteous and friendly business atmosphere when dealing with co-workers
  • Operate department equipment as trained through department manager supervision
  • Perform and document machine and departmental preventative maintenance requirements
  • Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
  • Follow all safety rules and practices and promote preventative safety
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
