ABOUT THE ROLE  

Mechanical Installation Service Engineer work activities may include the coordination and installation, de-installation, relocation, and/or service upgrades of high-value complex equipment in but not limited to hospitals, universities, and Federal Buildings. Various equipment from each modality may include but not be limited to X-ray, CT, MR, Cardiovascular and NM, and other related technical paraphernalia associated with these modalities.

TERRITORY LOCATION & TRAVEL
The assigned territory will be in Spokane, WA, and the surrounding areas. Up to 100% travel within Washington State is required. Multi-state travel may be scheduled as business needs require. 

WHO YOU ARE
Successful candidates should have electro-mechanical knowledge, solid mechanical troubleshooting skills, and 2 years of related education and experience. New graduates are welcome to apply. We train those who are eager to learn!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships, and complies with Probo SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and policy, customer requirements, and statutory and regulatory guidelines
  • Perform and deliver a safe and timely installation to the customer.
  • Represents Probo and the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assists Team Leader with quality and compliance, customer requirements, and ISO 9001 and ensures each process is followed by each team member.
  • Assists the Team Leader with coordinating suppliers and helps direct on-site deliveries of equipment.
  • Maintains integrity of confidential information.
  • Observe and promote Probo’s standards and policies on safety, quality, and productivity. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • Electro-Mechanical knowledge or experience.
  • Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Possess a high level of patience, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Self-starter able to work as a team and independently without much oversight.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and effectively communicate timelines and workload.
  • Prior experience communicating effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Proven ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Proven ability to read Metric and Standard measurements and use leveling methods to complete related work activities.
  • Provide and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year university or technical school; or a minimum of 2 years of related experience to the work activities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience working with power tools and on a ladder
  • Software skills (proficient in Microsoft Office products)  
  • Military electro-mechanical training is a plus

  • Monitor the safety and environmental conditions within the designated facility and deploy awareness to the on-site team in accordance with the PROBO Safety Manual.
