Position Summary: We are looking to hire a Production Cleaning Supervisor to oversee all aspects of foundry product cleaning operations, including tasks such as grinding, scarfing, welding, and other production processes. This role will also involve serving as a company ambassador during customer and supplier visits, as well as acting as a change agent to help advance the company and its initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of foundry operations, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily oversight of foundry cleaning operations by aligning daily and weekly business goals to meet safety, quality, delivery, and financial targets
- Drive timely production and delivery of customer orders, monitor and communicate schedules
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet industry standards and meet customer expectations
- Supports training programs to ensure employees are trained effectively and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all production procedures, and work instructions
- Works with Environmental Health & Safety to maintain and enforce policies and procedures, which include applicable regulatory requirements
- Serves as technical subject matter expert; point of contact for new products, including quality, and materials to optimize methods to meet product requirements
- Reviews and adjusts roles, overtime, and headcount requirements to meet changing production needs and targets; evaluates performance of team regularly against job requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in a foundry environment, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge and skills in the design and manufacturing of low-carbon steel castings.
- Proven track record of process improvements, with a strong drive and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and influence teams, alongside strong business acumen.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers.
