JOB TITLE: Human Resources Generalist – Recruitment
FLSA STATUS: Salaried/Overtime In-Eligible
JOB LOCATION: Human Resources/Administration
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for managing the recruitment process from candidate sourcing to on-boarding and for supporting assigned day-to-day functions, operations, and strategies in the Human Resources Department.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Legend: E = Essential NE = Non-Essential N/A = Not Applicable
1. Design, plan, manage, and administer the recruitment process to include, but not limited to: recruitment and retention, position descriptions, application management, planning, and hosting job fairs and events, interviewing, hiring/onboarding orientation, developing strategies, supporting, and maintaining internal website and outside job postings, etc. E
2. Respond to questions, concerns, and inquiries regarding policies, procedures, benefits as well as other Federal, State, and local laws and policies.
3. Oversee assigned areas of duties such training, records management, ensuring compliance, and, following up with benefit providers on behalf of the agency and employees, etc. E
4. Prepare Reports such as Turnover Ratio, Vacancy Aging Report, and similar reports as needed. E
5. Provide back-up support for departmental staff, as needed. NE
6. Attend meetings and professional development activities, as required. E
7. Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all clients, parents, co-workers, etc. E
8. Perform other related duties, as assigned. NE

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is generally performed in an office setting. May require some infrequent local travel
REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University in Human Resources or closely related field.
2. Three (3) years’ experience in the Human Resources field; preferably in Recruitment.
3. Bilingual (Spanish and English), spoken and written (Highly preferred).
4. Neat orderly person with great organizational skills.
5. Must be a “People Person” with a great disposition and outlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasant to work with and is a good listener.
6. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
7. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as needed.
8. Excellent communication and documentation skills, written and verbal
9. Must pass all background checks.
10. Transportation, valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, state minimum auto insurance, and must meet La Causa, Inc. driving standards.
