Work Location: Onsite in Dayton, OH
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour


Due to company growth, AmeriWater is seeking an experienced and dynamic Customer Service Representative to join our team!

Job Description
The Customer Service Representative processes customer orders, from electronic or verbal request. Assists in customer’s requests for information, including part numbers, freight quotes, tracking information, product lead times, literature, and manuals. Processes RMA (Return Material Authorization) requests from customers for warranty claims on defective parts. Track RMA’s and contact the customer to assist in the return shipment of the part. Notifies the Quality Dept. of important complaints for trending using the appropriate forms in our process. Files completed sales orders manually or electronically.

The position reports to Director of Finance and Administration

Core Responsibilities Are:
  • Process customer orders
  • Process Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
  • Ensure proper documentation of all orders and returns
  • Ensure customer orders are acknowledged electronically with proper lead time.
  • Ensure proper entry of order
  • Provide media repack quotes for High Efficiency Filtration systems
  • Verify accuracy of order pricing and applicable freight charges
  • Update database and call tracking systems as required
  • Interact with other individuals and departments as required to obtain required information to properly perform configuration activities.

Education: Some College, Technical or Vocational school preferred

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience with Salesforce, MS Office 365 and ERP Systems is required
  • Strong verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attentive to details—demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Fast-learner who can prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Able to work in a team environment, adaptable to change, and dependable
