We are currently hiring a Strategic Partnerships Coordinator. This position is 32 hours per week benefits-eligible position. The pay range is dependent upon the preferred qualifications and ranges from $23.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Position Overview
The Strategic Partnerships Coordinator connects PRISM to engage and leverage the strengths and interests of local businesses, community groups, civic groups, faith congregations and municipalities.
The overarching goals of this position include increased points of engagement for current stakeholders and new community partners, increased in-kind and monetary donations, and enhanced general community networking and agency awareness.
This position involves outreach, general fundraising, events, communications, donor solicitation, special campaigns, and evaluation.
Job Responsibilities
Community Engagement and Outreach:
- Work with Advancement team to manage the creation and execution of an overall plan for community outreach and engagement, which identifies and cultivates strategic partnerships to ensure key successes in PRISM’s community and business engagement efforts.
- Act as the liaison for PRISM’s Faith Partner Network, coordinate monthly Faith Partner meetings and other engagement opportunities.
- Perform regular engagement activities to foster relationships.
- Lead efforts to strengthen relations and commitments with current partners and engage new congregations as formal partners.
- Maintain knowledge of PRISM’s history, organization trends and resources that highlight and help tell the story of the work of PRISM.
- Represent PRISM publicly at events, meetings, committees, projects, or other activities as assigned.
- Solicit and lead the facilitation of internal and external donation drives, assist with donation pick-ups as needed.
- Represent PRISM or coordinate coverage publicly at events, meetings, committees, projects, or other activities as assigned.
- Seek out, coordinate, and present at speaking engagements.
- Actively seek out and engage new business and community partners and strengthen relationships with existing partners.
- Maintain relationships with community civic groups such as networking groups, business councils, and service organizations to build partnerships with PRISM programs.
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Manager to bring individuals, civic groups, schools, businesses, and other groups for volunteer efforts and projects to PRISM.
- Solicit corporate financial gifts for sponsorships, or other initiatives.
- Works other sponsorships for major events and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Grants Coordinator to regularly survey community and business partners about their experiences with PRISM.
- Serve as a main point of contact for current and new businesses, civic groups, faith partners, schools, and other community partners interested in learning about, promoting, volunteering with, and donating to PRISM.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Experience with community engagement
- Excellent written and oral communications skills through a variety of channels
- Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Comfortable with and skilled at speaking publicly
- Work experience in a corporate setting
- Strong attention to detail; organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects across different teams and timelines
- Strong computer skills and comfortable with technology, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Bloomerang (donor CRM)
- Creative thinker with an adaptive personality
- Experience with corporate sales and marketing strategies
- A passion for housing and solving food insecurity
- Sitting at a desk, standing when speaking or at networking events, walking, and driving.
- Work is partially performed in an office setting, where the incumbent will be exposed to noise and a regular flow of people. Headaches, eyestrain, and other related occupational hazards reflect the most common potential for injury. Work is light duty and sedentary with infrequent ability to lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds.
- This position is frequently exposed to mental effort and stress, is assigned to changing priorities, and performs work requiring attention to detail under deadlines.
- The ability to operate and interact with computers or other office equipment via keyboard, mouse, or touch screen is required.
- Given the high level of social engagement, it's ideal for individuals who thrive in collaborative and dynamic environments. Those who enjoy building relationships and working closely with people will find this role particularly rewarding. While all personality types are valued, this position may be less suitable for those who prefer minimal social interaction.
