Inside Sales Supervisor Coaches the inside sales team in executing sales functions, including developing and servicing managed accounts; quoting and negotiating custom products and special-priced orders; providing technical information; and related clerical follow-up duties. Provides training, tools, and information that enable direct reports to perform their duties with minimal supervision. Assesses sales representatives' performance, and develops strong working relationships with sales representatives through effective one-on-one interaction and group discussions.
Trains sales representatives in procedures, product knowledge, customer relationship building, negotiation skills, account management, and other sales techniques. Encourages the use of appropriate promotional material to enhance the customer's awareness of our stock and custom capabilities. Monitors sales trends and manages accounts, identifying opportunities for additional account growth. Spot unmanaged accounts with growth potential and take appropriate action. Works with management to develop sales tactics that contribute to overall Company goals and tracks sales representatives' progress. Oversees sales quotation process, following the procedure of review and elevation to the next level as necessary.
Self-starters with the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high attention to detail, have excellent business correspondence and communication skills, are successful in building rapport with direct reports and providing motivation and inspiration to achieve results, and show sound judgment in developing solutions and interacting with internal/external customers are encouraged to apply. Post high school education preferred with a minimum of three to five years sales experience, prior supervisory or training experience a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
