The HR Generalist will undertake various administrative duties across multiple business divisions and locations. This position serves as an ideal foundation for career growth in HR. The individual will engage with key stakeholders within the organization on matters such as recruitment, performance management, onboarding, HRIS implementation, and other projects as required by business demands. This role reports directly to the HR Director and works in close collaboration with our HR Administrator. This is an office based on-site position in our corporate office in Milwaukee. 

Responsibilities:

Hiring

  • Manage job postings on a variety of external job sites
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company’s ATS
  • Serve as a liaison between external search partners and managers
  • Coordinate the interview process for a wide variety of roles throughout the organization
  • Consult with department managers to thoroughly understand the department’s needs, and communicate Diversatek openings with applicants
  • Effectively use social media communication through Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram to reach candidates

Onboarding, Training, and HR Liaison

  • Become an expert in the onboarding process and the main point of contact for new hires and hiring managers
  • Initiate and facilitate the onboarding process, troubleshoot all questions throughout the process
  • Main point of contact for HRIS questions
  • Will provide backup responsibilities to HR Administrator when needed

Employee Engagement and Corporate Recruitment Branding

  • Communicate the value of the brand to both internal and external audiences
  • Continue to grow and build the Diversatek brand through various social media outlets
  • Potential involvement in additional branding growth initiatives as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related studies and/or a combination of education and experience
  • Two to four years of HR experience
  • Organize and prioritize multiple tasks without compromising quality or service
  • Swiftly learn new software and navigate the internet with ease
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently through verbal and written correspondence
  • Work independently as well as on a team
  • Bring a positive attitude and team player mentality
  • Detail-orientated and organized
  • Natural affinity and curiosity towards social media as a recruiting and branding tool
  • Maintain a results-oriented mindset with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Prolonged periods of standing when attending career fair events
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time
