Experienced Toolmaker / Wire EDM Specialist / Precision Grinder

Germantown, WI |  1st Shift | Full-Time |  Competitive Pay Based on Experience

Gromax is seeking an experienced Toolmaker, Wire EDM Specialist, or Precision Grinder to join our custom tooling team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can read prints, hold tight tolerances, and solve complex manufacturing challenges. We are especially interested in candidates with Wire EDM expertise or manual horizontal grinding experience. Unlike traditional centerless grinding environments, our work focuses on precision tooling and complex square components.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges
• Operate precision machining and grinding equipment
• Program and operate Wire EDM equipment (where applicable)
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Inspect components to tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot tooling and manufacturing issues

Qualifications

• Tool & Die, Toolmaker, Precision Machining, Grinding, or Wire EDM experience
• Strong blueprint reading and problem-solving skills
• Experience with precision measuring equipment
• Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work
