Summary
As a Field Crane Inspector, you will be a vital team member performing routine inspections in the overhead crane industry. Your core diagnostics skills will be essential in maintaining, inspecting, and servicing cranes efficiently. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Position focused primarily on inspections.
  • Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
  • Work at heights up to 80 feet with AWP (manlift).
  • Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills.
  • Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Travel as needed, on occasion.
  • 1 year of mechanical background, service technician, or relevant trade experience a plus (electrical, mechanical, etc.).
  • Developmental opportunities to repair, upgrade/modify, install/wire/startup and commission overhead cranes (all manufacturers and types).
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record a must.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Pay commensurate with experience Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Fabrication and rigging a plus.
  • Must be able to work at heights.
  • Working knowledge of general electrical concepts a plus.
  • Works well independently and as a productive member of a team.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
  • Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
  • Must not be afraid of heights.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Must have manual dexterity to repair/inspect a crane including bending, stooping, crawling, twist, reach, climbing and reaching.
  • Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
  • Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
  • Must wear safety glasses, gloves, and ear and fall protection
