Field Service Crane Inspector

Summary
As a Field Crane Inspector, you will be a vital team member performing routine inspections in the overhead crane industry. Your core diagnostics skills will be essential in maintaining, inspecting, and servicing cranes efficiently. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Position focused primarily on inspections.
- Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
- Work at heights up to 80 feet with AWP (manlift).
- Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills.
- Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Travel as needed, on occasion.
- 1 year of mechanical background, service technician, or relevant trade experience a plus (electrical, mechanical, etc.).
- Developmental opportunities to repair, upgrade/modify, install/wire/startup and commission overhead cranes (all manufacturers and types).
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record a must.
- Pay commensurate with experience Must be mechanically inclined.
- Fabrication and rigging a plus.
- Must be able to work at heights.
- Working knowledge of general electrical concepts a plus.
- Works well independently and as a productive member of a team.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
- Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
- Must not be afraid of heights.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
- Must have manual dexterity to repair/inspect a crane including bending, stooping, crawling, twist, reach, climbing and reaching.
- Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
- Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
- Must wear safety glasses, gloves, and ear and fall protection
