About Us
Sunstar Engineering Americas (SEA), a highly successful manufacturer of automotive adhesives, sealants, and coating products, is seeking an experienced individual to join our team.

About the Position
Perform minor mechanical & electrical work, office/facility support and maintenance for multiple locations. Keep facility and office systems in top operation capability, repair and correct current problems with minimal downtime and inconvenience.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support maintenance department operations, including 5S system, cost reductions, and continuous improvements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Inspect and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair minor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections, repairs, and ensure safety compliance for facility structures and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with departments, vendors, and contractors on maintenance-related projects and improvements.
  • Respond to after-hours maintenance needs and execute preventive programs effectively.

Requirements
  • Possess a high school diploma and 2-5 years of facilities maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Provide on-call support for urgent equipment fixes with short notice.
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate company vehicles.
  • Work in manufacturing environments with heat, dust, oil, and dirt.
  • Must be able to lift greater than 50 lbs.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain facility and office equipment, including HVAC systems.
  • Perform tasks requiring aerial lifts, working at heights, and adherence to Lock Out/Tag Out protocols.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic mechanical tasks (e.g., forklifts, compressors, pumps, dust collectors).
