Summary: We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources professional to support and enhance a positive, collaborative workplace culture. This role partners closely with leadership to maintain the integrity of the HRIS system and administer the full employment lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. The position manages hiring for hourly and professional roles, coordinating with external staffing partners, utilizing an Applicant Tracking System, screening and interviewing candidates, and supporting hiring decisions through reference and background checks. The role also leads new employee orientation and serves as a trusted resource for employees and management on company policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Company policies and procedures; ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws through consultation with professional organizations and regulatory guidance.
- Support compensation and performance management programs, including salary administration, wage and salary surveys, job evaluations, and job description reviews.
- Calculate pay adjustments, incentive payments, and bonus eligibility in accordance with established guidelines.
- Collect, analyze, and report workforce data related to applicant flow, hiring, terminations, promotions, transfers, and other employment activities.
- Administer Company benefit programs, including employee communications, annual open enrollment, benefit inquiries, claims assistance, and wellness program reimbursements.
- Administer FMLA, COBRA, Workers’ Compensation, dependent care, and educational assistance programs in compliance with applicable laws.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors and brokers to resolve plan discrepancies and evaluate current or new benefit and wellness offerings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, with a minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources generalist experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with ADP Work Force Now
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter while managing complex and detailed employment laws and employee benefit programs.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
