We are looking for a skilled Technical Specialist to become a key leader within our service organization. 

In this role, you'll install and train customers on cutting-edge foodservice equipment, mentor new technicians, and help drive operational excellence throughout the service department. What You'll Do 

• Lead Equipment Installations & Customer Training 
• Install commercial foodservice equipment at customer locations and company facilities 
• Provide hands-on training to customers and internal team members 
• Attend manufacturer training programs and bring new knowledge back to the team 
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers and technicians alike  
• Develop the Next Generation of Technicians 
• Onboard and train new service technicians 
• Teach company procedures, service best practices, and equipment operation 
• Mentor team members on preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques 
• Train technicians on ERP and service management processes  
• Make an Impact Across the Organization 
• Support service department operations and continuous improvement initiatives 
• Help ensure equipment, inventory, and technical resources are maintained and organized 
• Represent the company with professionalism and technical expertise  

What we require 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to train, mentor, and communicate effectively 
• Ability to kneel, reach overhead, and perform hands-on technical work 
• Ability to distinguish colors for wiring and diagnostics 
• Demonstrated electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills in commercial, industrial, or foodservice equipment environments. 
• Ability to install, commission, and test commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring proper operation and customer satisfaction. 
• Proficient in reading and applying electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manufacturer installation requirements. 
• Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems and related safety practices. 
• Experience diagnosing and repairing motors, controls, switches, relays, heating elements, and other equipment components. 
• Ability to coordinate utility requirements, including electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and gas connections during equipment installations. 
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team 
• Physically able to lift equipment, load trailers, and perform hands-on tasks 
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations 
• Physical Requirements 
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds 
• Work in warehouse, service, kitchen demo, and customer environments
