As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for leading the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
In this position, you will use your human resources knowledge, as well as your interpersonal and communication skills to:
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department including the management of the HR Team.
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to leaves of absence; disciplinary matters; terminations; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, and
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred, and
- SHRM-CP/PHR a plus, or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
