Job Title Clinical Dietician
Department Culinary
Supervisor Director of Culinary/Executive Director of SNF
Job ObjectiveTo ensure that the food and nutritional needs of residents shall be met in accordance with physician orders and to the extent medically possible, shall meet the dietary allowance of the food and nutrition board of the National Research Council adjusted for age, sex and activity. 
FTE Full- Time 32 hours per week
Job Standards   
1. Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or dietetics.
2. Current registered membership in the American Dietetic Association.
3. Two years of therapeutic dietetic experience in a geriatric or long-term care setting.
4. Knowledge of diet therapy, menu planning, food serving and preparation techniques.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and medical, nursing and food service
staff members.
6. Ability to safely perform essential functions of the job without harm to self or others with or                    without reasonable accommodations
