Position Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the activities of our Quality Control (QC) team. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, supporting internal departments, and maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
The Quality Control Supervisor will:
- Lead and develop the QC team, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight.
- Evaluate and test product quality to ensure all items meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to provide technical support and training.
- Interface with external vendors in a professional and collaborative manner.
- Recommend updates to testing methods, product specifications, and quality processes as needed.
- Stay current on industry standards and assist with periodic vendor evaluations and audits.
- Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints.
- Coordinate the provision of certifications, specifications, MSDS forms, and other regulatory documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Quality, Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical proficiency in product evaluation and testing methods.
