Description
The Fabricator/Warehouse Associate is a combination position with shared emphasis on warehousing duties and hose assembly duties within the McCook facility. This is a full-time position, M-F, 8:00am – 4:30 pm.
  • Fabricate custom hose orders to meet customer requirements. Use of mechanical skills to ensure accurate measuring, cutting, crimping, testing, and certification of final hose assembly.
  • Safe use of micrometer, hand tools, saws, crimping equipment, testing equipment, and other industrial fabrication equipment.
  • Pulls all parts as indicated on the shipping orders, assembles components as necessary.
  • Reviews and prioritizes daily shipping orders when received;
  • Loads and unloads trucks as necessary. Inspects containers and material and reports any damage or missing items.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records;
  • Prepares product for shipment in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with buyer to rectify any shortages;
  • Operates forklift to move, convey or hoist shipments;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; and 6 months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Commerce Center.
  • Willing to become forklift certified.
  • Willing to get Hazard Communication training.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Individuals must score 70% or higher on the Mechanical Aptitude test. to measure and read using calipers and tape measures when needed.
Benefits at a Glance
Pay Range: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

The pay range for this role varies and is commensurate with your skills, abilities, and experience.
