Summary: Provides a high level of customer satisfaction by offering premier on-site installation, troubleshooting and repair services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic and pneumatic components, bench test and troubleshoot.
- On-site system troubleshooting and repair
- On-site tube bending, hose assembly and plumbing layout
- Welding and gas cutting
- Basic electrical knowledge
Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities.

- Education and/or Experience – High school or GED; and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Trade school and or some technical training preferred.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and schedule form. .
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and to customers, and other employees in the organization.
- Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes. Plus Commerce Center software.
Other Qualifications:
Must be able to handle products (inventory) up to 100 pounds
Must get at least a 70% on the Mechanical aptitude test.
Must be able to read schematics and I.D. tags.
Must have the ability to see and avoid safety hazards in various environments.
Must be able to use power and pneumatic tools in the shop
Must have a good driving record.
Must be able to travel overnight if needed.
Must be able to read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, do tube bending, component rebuilding.
Must have prior experience in hydraulic troubleshooting, hose assembly and problem solving abilities
