Shop Helper
Location:  Menomonee Falls, WI
Pay range:  $19 to-$21 an hour
Hours:  Full-time – 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Position Overview:
As a Shop Helper, you will be an essential part of our production team, supporting welders, assemblers, and fabricators by preparing materials, maintaining the shop floor, and ensuring our operations run smoothly. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who is organized, dependable, and eager to learn manufacturing skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Cut, drill, grind, organize, and stage raw materials for welding and fabrication processes
  • Assist with unloading freight and transporting materials to designated workstations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment
  • Assist with sweeping, cleaning, and organizing shop floors and common areas
  • Perform basic maintenance checks and report any issues to supervisors
  • Prepare work areas for daily operations, ensuring all necessary materials and tools are available
  • Assist in setting up jigs, fixtures, and other production aids
  • Help track and restock supplies such as fasteners, welding rods, and safety gear
  • Dispose of scrap materials and maintain recycling protocols
  • Support receiving and storage of incoming materials
  • Support welders, assemblers, and other production staff as needed
  • Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience working in a shop environment preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Physical ability to lift, move materials, and stand for extended periods
