Position Title:  Quality Technician

Company Vision: To be an industry expert for supplying precision machined components and assemblies to OEM’s in the U.S.A. 

Primary Job Duties: 
  • Complete designated inspections and record results in a timely manner
  • Prepare and process non-conforming material reports
  • Operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS
  • Support production personnel quality questions and initiatives
  • Participate in the calibration program
  • Verify daily maintenance and 5S standards
  • Communicate work status
  • Follow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies.
  • Maintain acceptable attendance.
  • Any specifically assigned task.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements: 
  • Must be able to communicate and convey information to others.
  • Must be able to use and select tools. gauges, and work aids to perform task.
  • Must be able to prioritize work duties to reflect frequent changes, delays, and/or unexpected events during the work shift.
  • Must be able to precisely verify operator and machine performance against production documentation and customer specifications.
  • Must be able to make decisions using the principles of logic in a timely manner.
  • Excellent Math skills up to and including Statistics.
  • Ability to prepare basic communication and reports.
  • Advanced blueprint reading.
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Ability to use calibration tooling.
  • Microsoft office software.
  • Experience with machining or AS9100 is a plus.
  • CMM programming knowledge is a plus
  • Oasis programming knowledge is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Discus is a plus

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting up to 50lbs, including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.
  • Must be able to work with oils/coolants
  • Must be able to work in a noisy environment
  • Must be able to frequently stand or walk for long periods of time
