About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator / CNC & Swiss Setup Specialist with a strong background in short-run manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience setting up and troubleshooting multi-axis lathes, making program adjustments at the machine, and ensuring the production of high-quality precision components. This position requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently and effectively communicate with management/production teams.
Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (4/10 schedule). A Friday shift from 6:00 AM–11:00 AM may be required periodically, along with additional overtime as needed to meet business demands.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator / CNC & Swiss Setup Specialist with a strong background in short-run manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience setting up and troubleshooting multi-axis lathes, making program adjustments at the machine, and ensuring the production of high-quality precision components. This position requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently and effectively communicate with management/production teams.

Key Responsibilities
- At least 10 years in the industry
- Experience with short run manufacturing
- Proficient at setting up multi-axis lathes
- A good knowledge of G & M codes
- Make program adjustments at the machine
- Capable of 100% inspecting finished parts
- Understanding & selecting proper tooling
- Calculating speeds & feeds
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of 5S principals
- Communicate effectively with management
- 10+ years of CNC machining and setup experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes and swiss machines.
- Proven ability to make program modifications and tool offsets at the machine.
- Experience in short-run manufacturing and frequent setup changeovers.
- Ability to calculate and optimize speeds and feeds for various materials and machining operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience performing detailed in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with management and production personnel.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Competitive pay of $32.00 - $34.00 per hour, based on experience.
