The CMM Group, a respected supplier of air pollution control systems, process equipment such as dryers and ovens and other industrial equipment and services to its customers in a variety of industrial markets, is seeking a Controls Engineer to support and expand the Engineering team.

Essential Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Design, develop, and supervise all aspects of electrical control systems for industrial equipment
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment such as oxidizers, concentrators, industrial dryers and ovens, burners, fans, industrial controls
  • Ability to write software for PLC’s and microprocessor-based control systems for equipment such as oxidizers and ovens
  • Electrical Engineering Degree is preferred
  • Prefer 3+ years of technical experience working with fans, boilers, dryers/ovens, oxidizers, or other capital equipment
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCad
  • Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Together with Sales and Engineering, review and evaluate new project opportunities
  • Analyze engineering drawings, RFQs, process requirements and incorporate electrical instrumentation and software into the overall equipment design
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve customer specific issues remotely or onsite
  • Prepare cost estimates and technical information
  • Prepare plan for scope of work for electrical functions associated with the project
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Position is full time, 40+ hours per week
  • Occasional travel for customer meetings/site visits
