What does the HR Manager do at Wes-Tech?
The HR Manager position is currently a sole practitioner role, where you are responsible for driving ongoing cultural evolution and participating in various groups/teams to accomplish this evolution. As the singular HR contact for the organization, you will be engaged in a full-cycle HR role, providing coaching, guidance, and support to the management team and employees of Wes-Tech. This is truly a roll-up-your-sleeves and hands-on position, providing tactical and strategic responsibilities. The HR Manager is intimately involved in the company’s growth model and will be looked upon for guidance and suggestions to utilize best practices and develop unique solutions geared toward the company’s objectives.

What will you be responsible for?
  • Planning, organizing, and executing day-to-day human resource functions including onboarding, training, safety, coaching, offboarding, and maintenance activities.
  • Leading talent acquisition efforts and participating in candidate screening and interviewing.
  • Participating in evaluation and negotiation for HR vendor relationships and intimately involved in benefit plan design and selection.
  • Designing robust onboarding and skills training process.
  • Developing best-in-class solutions for all things HR.

What are the requirements for this position?
  • BS degree or equivalent; HR certification preferred.
  • Prior experience as sole HR practitioner, generalist, or business partner; currently serving as an HR Manager or ready to make that career move
  • General knowledge of computer software, including MS Office and Teams.
