About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, full time Manufacturing Accountant to lead and manage key financial operations in our growing company. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong foundation in cost accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting—particularly within a manufacturing environment.
You’ll take ownership of the financial systems that support our operations, working closely with leadership and production teams to ensure accurate reporting, efficient cost management, and compliance. Proficiency in Sage 100 is essential.

We’re seeking an experienced, full time Manufacturing Accountant to lead and manage key financial operations in our growing company. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong foundation in cost accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting—particularly within a manufacturing environment.
You’ll take ownership of the financial systems that support our operations, working closely with leadership and production teams to ensure accurate reporting, efficient cost management, and compliance. Proficiency in Sage 100 is essential.
General & Financial Accounting
- Manage daily accounting operations, including job costing and variance analysis.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle period closings and ensure accuracy across AP/AR, GL, and cash flow in Sage 100.
- Oversee shop order costing and ensure timely closeouts.
- Maintain and analyze standard costs; track variances in labor, materials, and efficiency.
- Manage WIP and COGS journal entries; oversee fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Process payroll through ADP and maintain accurate employee records.
- Administer benefit programs, including health plans and 401(k) contributions.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and payroll tax requirements.
- Create financial reports to support leadership decisions on cost control and profitability.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and contribute to tax planning and preparation.
- 5–10 years of accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency with Sage 100 and advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA a plus).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
