Are you passionate about creating innovative electronic products that improve lives? We're looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer – Electronics to lead the design and development of embedded electronic systems for next-generation medical devices.

In this role, you'll take design and develop embedded electronic systems from concept through commercialization, developing hardware architecture, schematics and PCB layouts. You’ll be working alongside software, mechanical, quality, and manufacturing teams to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality solutions used by healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and development of embedded electronic systems for medical devices.

  • Develop hardware architectures, schematics, and PCB layouts.

  • Drive projects from concept, prototyping, and verification through production release.

  • Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.

  • Perform circuit analysis, simulations, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.

  • Define and manage hardware requirements aligned with overall system architecture.

  • Support verification and validation testing and incorporate findings into design improvements.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, risk assessments, and engineering records.

  • Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.

  • Support design transfer to manufacturing, BOM optimization, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives.

  • Serve as a technical mentor and subject matter expert for hardware development.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications - Senior Product Development Engineer – Electronics

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience developing embedded electronic hardware products.

  • Strong expertise in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.

  • Experience designing microcontroller-based systems.

  • Hands-on experience with PCB design and schematic capture tools.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience taking products from concept through production.

Preferred Qualifications - Senior Product Development Engineer – Electronics

  • Experience with Altium Designer and Altium 365.

  • Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries.

  • Knowledge of IEC 60601, EMC/EMI requirements, FCC, RED, or similar regulatory standards.

  • Familiarity with embedded firmware development in C/C++.

  • Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and production industrialization.
