We are looking for a 2nd shift (3:15 p.m. - 1:15 a.m.) S&S Assembler to join the team. This is a great opportunity for anyone with experience in construction, general labor, manufacturing, or warehouse work.
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble dock door seals and shelters using hand and power tools.
- Read work orders to build products to customer specs.
- Use tools like saws, drills, nail guns, hammers, and measuring tapes.
- Cut lumber and construction materials (like 2x4s) to proper sizes.
- Wrap foam and vinyl around shelter frames.
- Lift, position, and secure large parts (up to 50 lbs regularly).
- Operate forklifts, man lifts, and overhead cranes (we’ll certify you).
- Work closely with your team to meet production goals.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in labor-intensive work (construction, warehouse, landscaping, etc.)
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Physically able to lift, bend, kneel, and move throughout the day.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player.
- Willing to work overtime during peak seasons.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to read work orders and follow detailed instructions.
- Must pass forklift/man lift certification (provided on-site).
