The Regional Director of Programs will coordinate the Acts Housing, Rock County office's human, financial, and material resources while maximizing community engagement. As Regional Director, you will be a part of the organizational leadership team and work closely with program staff and directors. There will be an expectation in this role to travel regularly throughout the community, including to the Milwaukee headquarters.

A successful Regional Director will leverage Acts’ capacity to provide homebuyer coaching, lending products and services, real estate services and acquisitions, and home rehab coaching, positively impacting families with low-to-moderate income to find empowerment through homeownership in Rock County.

The Regional Director reports to the Vice President of Programs and will be the lead staff member responsible for the operations of Acts Housing.

What you can expect to do as a Regional Director:
  • Oversee the program operations and day-to-day leadership of Acts Housing’s Beloit-based team while building and maintaining a solid regional culture and operational assistance.
  • Ensure annual regional program and financial metrics are met or exceeded.
  • Support the organization in taking steps toward strategic and annual goals, developing program consistency and sustainability, and piloting new programming aligned with the mission.
  • Cultivate and sustain philanthropic relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate partners through collaboration with the Acts fundraising team and Rock County contacts.
  • Serve as the regional community, government relations lead, and the face of Acts in the region through public speaking,  meetings, and events. 
  • Collaborate with the Acts marketing team to develop and generate leads, maintain and grow the community partner referral program, and identify community engagement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Acts Homes, Acts Lending, and Acts Housing divisions to identify, share, and support opportunities that align with the organization's mission and regional goals.
  • Regularly travel between offices to ensure communications and operations are occurring following Acts mission and policies.
What skills and experiences are needed for this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least  8 - 10 years of professional experience, ideally with experience in a fast-paced, innovative organization.
  • A proven leader who can inspire and motivate across a broad spectrum of individuals, including colleagues, teammates, donors, and Acts families.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, including excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to respond appropriately to a high volume of incoming requests.
  • Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize activities; wear multiple hats in an ambiguous environment.
  • Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget.
  • Monitor the performance of teams and motivate them to reach targets.
