About Us
Sunstar Engineering Americas (SEA), a highly successful manufacturer of automotive adhesives, sealants, and coating products, is seeking an experienced individual to join our team.

About the Position
The Sales Engineer II, part of the company’s front line representatives, is expected to develop relationships with the customer’s key purchasing, production, quality, and engineering staff.  Will work with the customer to identify new sales, provide problem resolution and product performance improvements. Will convey relevant business information between the customer and the company including but not limited to: market intelligence, project management and customer expectations.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze customer production, forecasts, and product usage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assist in planning activities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Use APQP tools to manage product launches and customer activities effectively.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, establish customer requirements, and meet pricing targets.
  • Build and maintain customer-specific process manuals and ensure consistent follow-ups.
  • Understand Sunstar product characteristics to provide technical and application-related support.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing and reporting needs to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide customer support for trials, product launches, and other activities as required.
  • Support company logistics, reporting, and document creation, including business reports (BRs).
  • Ensure effective communication of relevant information to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Engineering or Business, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical Sales or industrial sales of adhesives, coatings. Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Travel 20-50%, including day trips and overnight stays near customer sites.
