Order Fulfillment Assembler

Pay - $20-21/hour
This is a role within the MultiFab Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) assemble a variety of holdowns, cable assemblies, and chain assemblies according to specifications., and (ii) Operate hand tools and small equipment to support efficient and accurate component assembly. Requires No minimum experience required. Experience working with hand tools No minimum education required. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in descending order of percentage of time required) 
  • Assemble a variety of holdowns, cable assemblies, and chain assemblies according to specifications. 
  • Operate hand tools and small equipment to support efficient and accurate component assembly. 
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by filling Gaylords with finished product and securing contents using banding equipment. 
  • Transport materials and finished goods using hand trucks or fork trucks as needed. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards. 
  • Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification 
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. 
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Multi-Fab’s reputation by keeping information confidential. 
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. 
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
