ErgoAV is growing! ErgoAV is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our growing organization. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for verifying and maintaining records of incoming shipments. This position also involves receiving goods, picking and packing orders, preparing shipments, and conducting inventory counts.

Essential Job Duties:
Receiving
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record any shortages, and address damages or shortages. Receive inbound freight. Sort and organize items on racks, shelves, or in bins based on the predetermined product code.
- Ensure order accuracy with attention to detail and verify receipts against the accompanying packing slips.
- Unpack the shipment deliveries and distribute the contents to the correct warehouse bin location.
- Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments to and from the warehouse.
- May operate a tier-lift truck or use a hand truck to move, convey, or lift shipments from the shipping and receiving platform to the storage or work area.
Shipping
- Pick all parts required to fulfill the order.
- Insert items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding. Assemble wooden or cardboard containers from selected preassembled options. Nail covers onto wooden crates and bind containers with metal tape using a strapping machine.
- Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments to and from the warehouse.
Inventory Control
- Ensure that the physical inventory aligns with the database inventory (Cycle Counting).
- Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments to and from the warehouse.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify details against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Keep the workspace and equipment clean and organized, and adhere to established safety regulations. (5S)
- Adhere to safe work practices and accident prevention procedures, and comprehend the rules and protocols regarding health and safety.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills/Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in warehouse and/or shipping and receiving.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift 50-100 lbs., and frequently push/pull up to 40 lbs., with occasional pushing/pulling of 41-100 lbs. This position also requires working on a computer periodically throughout the day. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and/or hands.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the capability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
