Goals/Objectives of Position:

This role is tasked with assisting the Operations Manager with managing and measuring output, meeting customer demands and increasing customer loyalty, and increasing meal participation by 25%. Responsible for assisting Office Administrator with internal and external communications. Completes the Hand-Off Checklist, special projects, field work and site visits. This role also secures and verifies the Meal Production Data Sheet and technical reports for our National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. This position is metrically measured to manage and measure output, meet customer demands and increase customer loyalty, and increase meal participation by 25%.

Essential Duties:
  • Manage daily site visits and field work with customers and other quality audits, respond to customer service issues, and assist with other functions as needed.
  • Apply competency in data entry and data analysis to the food service industry working in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program
  • Complete the HOC: Follow the Hand Off Checklist to ensure all data entries are completed on time.
  • Request and input the data needed to manage and measure output for meal counts, reconcile, invoices, labor report, punch clock, receipts, supply requests, and menu change forms
  • Meet customer demands by accurately communicating, customizing, and printing documents as needed
  • Increase meal participation by 25% by utilizing data to increase sales
  • Other duties/special projects as assigned.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of information by keeping confidential data private and secure

Education/Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Must have or acquire a certificate in ServSafe sanitation
  • Minimum of 2 years in food service industry

Knowledge & Skill Required:
  • Able to explain or demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that essential functions of the job can be performed
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office for reporting, writing, emailing, planning and information gathering.
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices and techniques
  • Knowledge of cost/price analysis
  • Good math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and remain agile in your working environment
  • Able to provide excellent customer service 
  • Exercise discretion and judgment; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interactions with coworkers, management, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction 

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift a 30 pound load, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and pushing and pulling up to 100 pounds. Mental effort requires reading and quick response (with minimum error rate).
